2009: I Want The New Day & Age!

2009 for me will be forever remembered for all the wrong reasons as they were the main highlights of my year, nevertheless I cannot say I did not enjoy it.

 

I’ve escaped death..

found salvation..

lost a friend..

gained new ones..

lost touch with some..

reconnected with others..

had the time of my life..

had the worst..

wished it would last forever..

wished it would soon be over..

counted the days for something to happen..

counted each passing day in regret..

had bright sunny mornings..

had long lonely nights..

had cold dark mornings

had long party nights..

felt like a good weekend..

felt like a bad month..

I broke a promise..

I saved a life..

I let some down..

I was source of inspiration..

I looked over my shoulder..

I looked over the clouds..

I walked away..

I came running back..

I pushed my self to the edge..

I cut myself some slack..

times I called the shots..

times I was bluffed..

time was on my side..

time was flying by..

 

Yes it’s flying so fast.. I remember last new years eve like a vivid dream I had last night.

 

 

I believe a year is like an analogue disc under the gramophone needle, it cannot play all the way through without some clicks and pops from fallen dust.

 

 

..and I’ve made it through so bring on 2010 I want the new day & age!
