Comic Con 2010 In A Nutshell

 

 

 

 

The 41st  Comic-con just closed its doors. It’s a haven for any comic/video gamer geeks and I happen to be both! Sadly I’ve never been to one yet but will do in the future hopefully! Anyways at Comic-con  producers and directors of comics/video games/movies talk about their projects and give fans a chance to sneak preview the anticipated games/movies firsthand! Here’s a list of what I can’t wait to get my hands on!

 

 

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate Of Two Worlds;

 

I’ve been a fan of this game back when it was on PS1! The first Marvel vs. Capcom! now it’s back on the PS3 for the first time and it looks neat! 3 new characters have been added, Chun Li (street fighter), Trish (Devil May Cry) and finally Super Skrull (the Fantastic Four). The game has improved graphics obviously but is still in 2D, mainly to maintain it’s classic image and game play and I prefer it that way!

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions;

 

This game should by far be the best Spider-Man game ever! It’ll allow gamers to play through 4 different worlds in the Marvel Universe. This means you can get to play with 4 different versions of Spider-Man. Choose from either The Amazing Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099 or Spider-Man Noir ! all which have different stories and slightly different graphics!

DC Universe Online;

 

The long anticipated DC Universe’s big bang is set for 2nd of November this year. This game will change a lot of lives! warning: ADDICTION HAZARD. In this massive online multiplayer game where you basically get to create your own hero, choose their super-powers (fire,ice,fly..etc) and fight against/alongside DC Universe’s top iconic characters. Your character will have to go through stages and level-ups to master it’s super-powers and learn how to use multiple powers. Gamers will also have the chance to play as one of the iconic super-heroes of DC in an in-game player vs. player simulator. I’ve always been a Marvel fan but I’ve got to give into this one, the concept of creating my own hero to beat up DC’s Batman & Co is simply thrilling !

Avengers Assemble!;

 

Last but definitely not least! the cast of what is dubbed by Robert “Iron Man” Downey Jr. to be the “most ambitious” movie of all time are introduced to the fans. The Avengers movie will make it’s way out on the silver screen come summer of 2011 !
